Universal Studios & islands of adventure in a day?

I am going to universal studios sometime next month, but me and my partner have only booked single day tickets for universial studios and its joint on park islands of adventure. can both be done in a day? what are queues like at the start of april? what time does the park open and close? any sort of reply%26#39;s would help, cheers.

Universal Studios %26amp; islands of adventure in a day?

At low peak times its possible to do both parks in a day but to get most out of it, I would spend a day in each park.

April is pretty busy, the 9th - 19th will be very Busy because of the Easter Holiday. Can you up-grade to 2 Parks/2 days or you might think about getting the Express Pass for Both Parks. If you decide to just go with your plan, I would start with IOA first

Park Hours for April should be 9am - to at least 8pm for Universal and Islands of Adventure. 11am - 2 am for Citywalk

I think you could get it done so long as you get to the park for opening!! Then u will get straight on all the popular rides in one park without big queues and then u will have to face the normal queues in the other park! But getting there for opening will help soooo much x

Get there first thing in the morning and you can do it in a day.

Ride on the rides you would really want to go first and when the crowds start getting to higher levels you can just stroll through the park.

I agree, on our last day, we had to be back in Sanford for 2pm and we did our favourite 8 rides (4 in each park) again in both IOA and universal studios, we got then for opening and we were back in teh car getting changed out of our soaking wet clothes (after doing Popeye%26#39;s rapids and Dudley do rights ripsaw falls) by 12pm, lol happy days !

You can do both parks comfortably in a day with a little luck and some good planning

Enjoy Orlando

It can be done but you won%26#39;t be able to experience all of the parks (obviously) One way to make it easier is to buy the Universal Express.

It is Universal%26#39;s answers to Disney%26#39;s fast pass system, but you have to pay for it. You get given a ticket and the initials of the rides are on the back. Once you go on the ride, the operator marks the ride so you can%26#39;t go on it more than once.

I don%26#39;t know how much it is but if you are on a tight time schedule it could be very useful.

We did both in a day; went on pretty much everything we wanted to, and I credit this to one thing only -- we got the Express Pass in advance and did not regret it one bit. It was so worth it to not have to waste time standing in lines. Especially knowing you have only a day, you%26#39;ll kick yourself if you have to wait for an hour for a ride, or miss something you wanted to do.

Also I agree, get there when it opens (aim to be parking your car at least 15 min before opening time) First thing in the morning there weren%26#39;t many lines but later on they were 60 min for Hulk, Simpsons, Spiderman, etc.

In order to cover both parks on one day, especially in April, here are the absolute musts:

1. You MUST have an Express Pass.

2. You MUST be there before the parks open and be ready to run when they do.

3. You MUST be willing to skip smaller attractions.

4. You MUST be willing to only do the major attractions the one time with your Express Pass.

Even if hours are extended, you will need these guidelines, but particularly if the parks close at 6:00 or 7:00 PM during your visit.

I%26#39;m curious what are the musts for Universal aside from Spiderman ride and Jurassic Park??? We don%26#39;t like roller coasters.

Thank you very much.
