What shows/attractions are a do-not-miss for 5, 7 yo boys?

Going to WDW in July and trying to plan our trip. I%26#39;ve never been, so flying blindly! What shows/rides/attractions do we not want to miss? We are either staying 5 days or 7 days. Also, any food choice advice for each park would be greatly appreciated!

I love tripadvisor...have never planned a trip without it!

Water Parks, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom.

It rains every day in July for about an hour, starts between 2pm-5pm so plan for that... buy a poncho.

Go to water parks early, at opening as they close down when lightning strikes...

Dinner at T-Rex restaurant is a must for boys, also the Lego store, both in Downtown Disney.

If you plan to stay at a Disney Resort, make sure you check out the current Special, Buy 4 Get 3 Free ( you can stay less then 7 days but it is most cost effective for 7 ) www.wdwinfo.com/disneypackages.htm

Your boys will love everything, anything that they are tall enough for, go for it

Lots of yummy options for Dining, I%26#39;m sure the boys would love T-Rex at Downtown Disney and Sci-Fi Dine In at Disney%26#39;s Hollywood Studios but don%26#39;t rule out some of the Character Meals, Chef Mickey%26#39;s is great fun for everyone

I agree! Anything they are tall enough for they will love. We really enjoy Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Sea World. Rainforest Cafe is great for the atmosphere. We will be trying T-Rex this year and my soon to be 5yr old can%26#39;t wait. The motor cars stunt show at Hollywood Studios is also alot of fun. My son loved it last year.

One of my favorite things to eat in the parks is a roasted turkey leg.. Kind of barbaric (not sure if I spelled that right :%26gt;). But when cooked well they are SOO yummy! Plus we only get them from the state fair and disney so only 2x a year..

We are going the end of the month and I%26#39;m already getting excited!.

Enjoy!

I%26#39;m a little confused. If you get a meal plan, are places like Chef Mickey%26#39;s in the contemporary included in that, or is that extra? And someone mentioned dinner theaters. Are those included in a meal plan? How do you know what places are in the meal plan?

That would depend on which meal plan you get. If you pick the one with 1 table service, 1 counter, and one snack, then yes it would count as the table service.

I should have mentioned that the dinner/shows like Hoop de doo would count as 2 table services. So you could still do that, you get a total of service per night you stay, they can be used any way you wish.
