My Orlando trip is now going to be different then planned...

We booked to go to Florida last June for a holiday this April.

I am now 12 weeks pregnant (very excited!), so I wont be able to go on as many rides as I was planning on!! I will be 17-19 weeks whilst we%26#39;re over there.

Has anyone else been to the parks whilst pregnant, and how did it affect your holiday (if at all!).

The Disney website is quite good with ride info est, but we pre-bought flexi tickets for IOA, Universal %26amp; SW but their info is limited on their websites.

We have been quite a few times before so I know the obvious rides I wont be able to go on, but just wondered if anyone has any advice or tips : )

Hi! I was 8 months pregnant and did a few theme parks here in Germany, and although they advise you not to go on the big rollercoaster they dont say you cant! I went on all of them, the only critia was that I had to be able to put the seat belts on. If it was me I know it would not effect going on any rides, the only thing would be getting tired maybe, but personally I dont think it should effect the rides.

Have a fab holiday which ever rides you go on.

I am so sorry I forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS on the good news.

Congratulations....check with both your airline and your travel insurance provider that you are still able to travel, im sure you will but sometimes they put restrictions on you like you cant make a medical claim to do with your pregnancy.

It is better to be safe than sorry, Have a great trip

sorry i read that as 29wks for some reason, the airlins will be fine but double check with your insurance that you will be covered.

Thanks - Insurance have said its not a problem as i will be at one of the safest times to travel which is fab.

The first 12 weeks are the most risky, so good news that you%26#39;re past that.

I%26#39;d also check with your midwife for advice.

Congratulations!

It%26#39;s great that you%26#39;ve been before and are familiar with the rides; just use common sense on them.

It can be very warm in Florida in April, and that heat can take a toll on a pregnant woman. PACE YOURSELF. Build in plenty of downtime. Drink plenty of fluids. Wear THE most comfy shoes and clothes you can find. Ask for extra pillows, if you need support for your growing tummy while sleeping. get a maternity back support belt.

Here%26#39;s a website you might find helpful: http://allears.net/pl/pregnant.htm

Wow great news. I have never been pregnant, wish I could help.

Don%26#39;t check with your midwife- is she is anything like mine she will tell you not to travel lol. When I was pregnant with the twins I went to Fuertaventura, then France and she nearly popped a gasket ;-)

I knew I wasn%26#39;t going anywhere afterwards so went anyway. I knew they wouldn%26#39;t come early, and in the end I was induced at 37 weeks lol.

OMG Macs, too funny :)
