Orlando Airport Hotel

Recommendations for a hotel near the Orlando Airport. Within a couple of miles. Comp breakfast. Suite if possible. Comp shuttle to airport.

The Hyatt is within the airport itself but we opted for using Hotwire and got the Marriott Rennaisance(sp?) for $80. Apparently that and the Hyatt are the only four star properties at MCO on Hotwire. Not sure if the Marriott has suites but it does have a shuttle.

There are a dozen hotels in a cluster north of the airport in a wide range of price categories. They include the Renaissance mentioned above, a Marriott, a Hampton, a Hilton and some bargain chains as well.

They all run shuttles and many of them have suites.

The Orlando tourism web site has maps with details on that area.

We stayed at the Hyatt (above the airport) in January. Beautiful hotel, great service and very convenient.

There is a Hawthorn Suites just north of the airport, approximately 1-2 miles. It is an all suite hotel with free breakfast and courtesy shuttle to and from the airport. Their website is www.hawthornsuitesairport.com . I have had friends stay at this property and it is quite nice.

We like the Embassy suites at the airport-free shuttle,free breakast,free managers reception. the Fairfield Inn is also very nice;also the Residence Inn.
