Trafalgar Village

Does anyone know what Trafalgar Village is like? Is is in a safe place? How long would it take to get to Disney? How far is it from Disney? Do you have to pay to use club house facilities? What are the clubhouse facilities like?

Trafalgar is on S Poinciana Blvd and is around 8 miles to 192 so may take you approx 15 mins then you need to get to the parks area.The community it self is reasonably new and very nice .

So would you think we are better staying here than somewhere like Legacy Park. I have seen a house here but on google earth the street doesn%26#39;t look too good. Its hard to see in the photo but the street looks a bit run down. What do you think? I am worried it will be too far or unsafe?

Legacy Park is about as far from Trafalgar as you can get as it is the opposite end of the 192.Legacy if fine but not so new.Both areas are ok and with regards to safety then you are as safe on one as the other.Legacy has no community facilities I believe -I may be wrong - but i know my community is always throwing people from there off our tennis and basketball courts.

Remember Google earth is a bit out of date usually and what looks like a building site usually isn%26#39;t.

If you stay on Legacy and need info ask as I know the area well.

Thanks very much again for your advice. I really like the look of the home on Trafalgar more than the Legacy one but I think we might go for that one. Do you know how long it takes to get to disney when you get to the 192? We are going at Easter so it will be a busy time I think. I think I will post again to see if anyone has stayed there ( at trafalgar) to see what its like. Thanks once again.

Trafalger Village is a really nice place to stay, it is a gated community and has a club house with cinema, gym and games plus a jacuzzi and pool outside, they are still building on the site thats why it may look rough on google. With the credit crunch most building work will have been laid off. It has a security guard at night and is as safe as could be. Disney is about 15 mins and about 10 mins from the 192
