Are the building works still going on at this hotel and if so, do you know when they should be completed and would it put you off staying there? Thanks so much for any replies

For the most part, the building work is done as the new section is opening on May 1st.

The will be acclimating the animals to the new savannah beginning on April 15th or so.

Thank you - i note that there are various bits to the hotel and the new villas - which would you recommend for two adults and three children under 8?

There are some rooms available in the Animal Kingdom Lodge that are part of the Villas ( but not in the New Kidani Village Villas ) they have recently been converted from regular rooms at the Lodge. They are in what is called Jambo House and there are Studios that have a Queen Size Bed, A Full Size Sleeper Sofa and a Convertable Chair Bed, that would be fine for a small child. There are of course 1 bedroom units as well that would sleep 5.

I would recomend however a 1 or 2 Bedroom unit in the New Vllas, they are called Kidani Village and have more space and it is brand new. It would be best to talk with a Reservation Specialist at Disney at this time because availability may be limited because it is so new.

I adore the Animal Kingdom Lodge and hope to stay in the New Kidani Villas this year but won%26#39;t mind at all staying at the Lodge if there is no availablitiy in a New Unit. I don%26#39;t think you could go wrong staying at either
