We LOVED The Crystal Sands. Check vrbo.com for the unit that fits your needs.

There is covered parking, elevators, and things seemed pretty secure. We spent our time going between the freshwater pool and walking the beach!

We would be going back this year - but with the recession, I found a condo on St. Thomas, USVI for the same price as Siesta Key - and when the choice was Florida or a Carribean Island - well... !!! We will be back in Siesta again though - and we%26#39;ll stay at The Crystal Sands.

The House of the Sun condos are great too. It is a smaller building with 5 floors. Great location with shopping and restaurants across the street. The pool and tennis court are directly on the beach which is perfect for families with children. It also has a roof top sun deck for great views of the beach and sunset. Some units have been re-done quite nicely. They have their own web site as well as some of the units are listed on forgetaway.com and vacation rentals.com. I think it%26#39;s one of the best but I do have a unit in the building. Siesta Key is awesome and August is a great time to go. The water is around 89 degrees and there is always a lovely beach breeze.

crescent arms is beautiful and is directly on the beach the part of siesta key beach called crescent beach. Its beautiful! You need to pick a condo that faces the ocean for the beautiful views. There is a pool but we never used it the ocean was gorgeous.You can also book through vrbo.
