this may seem a silly question but do they allow you to use your nintendo ds during the flight?i have 2 children to entertain on a long flight and thought they would prefer playing on them rather than using there in-flight entertainment
also, just in case, what games do they have on there monitors and do you have to pay for them?
many thanks
first choice/thomsons flights
Airlines will not let you use them on take off and landing but no problem at all other times. Wireless play is not normally allowed.
first choice/thomsons flights
Yes they can use there Ds no problem, i used mine throughout the flight between the movies i never liked. But as the previous poster has stated u cannot use it on take off or landing. I put mine in the chair pouch when getting on the plane so i never had to disturb anyone trying to get i out of the overhead storage once up in the air. Wendy
Inflight entertainment on First Choice flights is very good, some simple games for younger children (disney related), battleships, hangman, fun quiz that you play with everyone on the flight, zuma and lots more. You can pay for an upgrade which gets millionaire and some others. I assume thomson operate a similar system but don%26#39;t know for sure.
many thanks for the replies,my children will be happy unless the battery runs out!!!
cannot wait, only 3 weeks to go
Yes we flew First Choice, and they do allow them, but not on take off and landing.
However they have good films, and tv channels and also games, on individual tv%26#39;s so it is quite good, I actually found their seats more comfortable than Virgin.
