Great Trip-Thanks!

Thank you for all the help that I was given on this board! We did a two night, one day park trip before heading to visit with family in The Villages Florida (retirement living).

We have a 20 month old son and this was our first flight with him. He did great, it was a quick flight down:)

Arrived on Wednesday mid day and took the Magical Express. It did take a while to do all the drop offs before arriving at Riverside. We were able to check in with in about 15 minutes. I had requested the Alligator Bayou room, but we were given an upgrade to waterfront Magnolia Bend room in Parterre Place. Loved the location. We thought this building was really a great location for us since everything was in reach.

We enjoyed a quick mini meal at the quick service dining and later that afternoon hopped the boat to Downtown Disney. We were able to get into T Rex and it was great! Our son actually stayed in his high chair the entire meal. I got the beef salad and it was terrific. My husband raved about the ribs.

The next day we took advantage of the extra hour at MK. Within the first hour we had down nearly all the little children rides with our son.He loved Dumbo and Pooh. Once the park opened to the rest of the crowds, traffic was still light till about 10:30. We hit nearly everything else with no waiting! It started to get crowded around lunch time so we saw some of the shows, did some of the play areas and took a train ride. Enjoyed the 3:00 parade and then headed back to the hotel for a rest:)

Enjoyed a quick service meal at the French Quarter after walking there from our place to check it out!

What a great trip. Certainly made us catch that Disney bug!

I am taking my grandson this year he will be 16 months i cant wait to see his face, i hope he enjoys T Rex as much as your little one.

Welcome Home

A short but sweet Holiday, Swell

So now that you have the D-Bug, when will you return and stay a little longer ? :)

We have a free week given to us at a time share and may use it in Orlando in September when the crowds are small.

September is Great, there are alot of us on the forum going then, hope we see you there :)

Wow great trip, even if short. That disney bug is a hard one to get rid of.
