suggestions for bars/restaurants within walk of strand hotel

We are headed back to south beach for stay #2 at the strand hotel next weekend. what we learned last year is being a fun couple in our late 30%26#39;s, we enjoy spending day at beach or pool and then want to go out by 9, don%26#39;t want to wait til 11 and wait in line for clubs with 21 year olds. Learned to avoid the tourist trap eateries on ocean drive.

Can you recommend bars we could go within walking of strand where we could hear some live music, drink, chill, dressing up but not waiting in line for an hour?

also, best places to eat on hispaniola way? other areas nearby?

also open to creative weekend couple ideas: hotel pool party, dancing, etc.

we will be there friday, sat. and sun. Leaving Monday am.
