PoP vs All StarMU:Guest of both

Although, I value all input I would really appreciate input from persons that have stayed at both Pop Century and AllStarMusic. I%26#39;m already familiar with the slushies at Pop, the size comparision between the two, number of pools at each, the pool activities at AllStarMusic, the ';bus issues'; or ';non-issue';, I know AllStarMusic was recently renovated, etc. I just want to know, overall, which one did you prefer the most out of the two.

I have stayed at all 3 All Stars and like the Music resort the best, but i would pick Pop over All-stars. The bus service it better, more seating in food court, dont know if it concerns you but there was 3 tables around the bar as a smoking area.

Im really not sure as i have not visited either but may i recomend looking at each of the resorts websites and writing lists of advantages and disadvantages that is what i would do and also think about what are the main things you are looking for in the resort.

I have already throughly researched both but still can%26#39;t make up my mind. Sometimes it just comes down to ambience which is why I wanted the opinion of individuals that have actually stayed at both.

We have stayed at the All Star Music twice with the last visit being April 2005. We stayed at the Pop once with the last visit being Oct. 2007. This year we are returning to Disney for 8 nights and have chosen to return to All Star Music. We didn%26#39;t really notice a difference in bus service which is what most people comment on. We thought the food was better at All Star Music although the refillable drinks did not include slushies at All Star(the slushie machine was broken or out of service 3 of the 5 days we were at Pop). My #1 reason for liking All Star better is I felt the Pop was too ';concrete';. I like the landscaping/trees around the pool at All Star. Just felt more tropical. Pop seemed like a huge concrete slab. The memoribilia at Pop was cool to look at but overall it felt more vacation like at All Star. We got preferred rooms at both places. All Star preferred are all in the Calypso buildings which is nearest to the lobby. Our preferred room at Pops seemed to be quite a jaunt from the lobby-I don%26#39;t feel it was close enough to be classified preferred although we paid more for it.

Another family that traveled with us both times also voted for All Star Music as their preferred choice.

kellygal, thank you so much for your input. I do believe I%26#39;m going to go with ASMusic. As a matter of fact, the suite would fit us better anyway. I would like to see Pop one day though...... maybe on a quick trip.
