diet for disney

just asking out of nosiness, but do you guys all put on weight when at disney land? i am tring to lose 10 pounds before i go in july(damage limitation)!! lol, but my sister in law says she lost three pounds last time she was there with all the walking! even though they did dining plan and had three courses every night!!the food all sounds so yummy out there1

I had every intention of gaining weight when I went to Orlando! I love ice cream sandwiches, krispy kreme and cinnabon way too much!



But alas when I got home I too had lost a few pounds! (not that I%26#39;m complaining mind, I%26#39;d rather lose them then put them on!).





You just don%26#39;t realise how much exercise you%26#39;re doing out there, the parks are massive and you%26#39;re on you your feet all day! As long as you%26#39;re mobile I don%26#39;t think you need to worry too much about putting on weight!

I think it balances out really. I put on weight really easily and can put on 7lb over christmas, however I eat alot more in Disney and sometimes in 14 days stay the same, loose a little or only put on 2lb. However that being said, I will try to loose a little before we go, it can not hurt.





Remember you are so active, you walk more, and swim most days so it burns it of almost as quickly as you eat it.





Hey you are on holiday so relax and enjoy all those, ummm turkey legs, ice creams, doughnuts, fudge ummmm the list goes on and on.




i%26#39;m not one for monitoring the scales, but i definitely want to lose a bit before we go, so i can enjoy all the food and not worry that my clothes wont fit when i get home! so im gonna try to eat healthily and swim everyday between when we go (13th june) and 1st may - thats my dissertation hand in date, and i need the easter eggs to get me through until then!!

I always lose weight when I go, and we eat big late dinners!!




Yeah it is! I%26#39;d never deprive myself on holiday! Especially of the stuff that I can%26#39;t get at home...like almond m%26amp;ms and wild cherry pepsi! :D





It%26#39;s only for a couple of weeks, then when you get home you can eat all the rabbit food you want! ;-)




I loose a few pounds while there.




In spite of all my attempts to try all forms of ice cream and deserts and appetizers and ... well, you get the idea, I still manage to loose a few pounds. I think to myself, imagine if I eat right at home and walked that much? hum....




I work in weightwatchers,been a gold member since 2001,have been to florida twice,and each time iput on a stone,on the go constantly.my two big downfalls,the waffle machine in my hotel and cinnabon when leaving universal in evenings,am currently trying to lose for my june holiday to florida.




I don%26#39;t know how all y%26#39;all ';losers'; do it, but I ALWAYS gain when I go. ALWAYS. Yes, in spite of all the walking, and eating a salad every day, I ALWAYS gain between 4 and 16 pounds every time. (And, believe it or not, I gained that 16 pounds in 6 days!) Of course, I DO gain incredibly easily, and...yeah, that salad is also supplemented with Mickey ice cream bars and fried chicken...and french fries...and brownies...and...oops...I guess that explains it.
