Best Way to Get to Boggy Creek

Just seen another post where Attraction Tickets Direct are offering free Boggy Creek airboat tickets when you purchase the flexi-pass.

What would be the best way to get to Boggy Creek?

We dont have a car as will be using shuttles %26amp; I-ride. We can however rent a car for the day or take a taxi. Which option would be best or is there anything better?

Where are you staying?

Boggy Creek is pretty far out in the east Kissimmee area and a taxi ride may be costly for both directions, just depending on where you are coming from.

Forgot to say that no LYNX busses or any kind of public transport goes to the Boggy Creek area, so you%26#39;ll have to rely on either renting your own vehicle of taking a taxi, but either one may be rather expensive.

We are staying on I Drive i think that the money we are saving on getting the free tickets will actually pay for the car rental!

Thank you for your help.

Boggy Creek Airboats has two locations

Not sure if this is the one you are referring to though.

If it is, I have done the regular ride from the Southport location which is pretty remote. Having done an airboat ride in the Everglades I wasn%26#39;t impressed for the price. In my opinion, not sure that it is worth the hassle in getting there, although I guess it could be if it is free and you haven%26#39;t done one before.

we got a taxi to boggy creek from our hotel on international drive, driver waited over half an hour while we had our ride and bought us home again all for $50 which we thought was good. we loved the airboat ride by the way.

WOW! I%26#39;d say $50 is pretty remarkable.

A taxi from the airport to the convention area of I-Drive would cost you around $30 one way or $60 roundtrip. To get to the east location (which would be the closer of the two) is a little further than the airport. Plus at least 30 minutes of waiting time...which will be longer with check in and if you happen to arrive just after one left (the south location only does one at time...maybe different at the east)....

we were impressed with the price. we left from the homewood suites by the convention centre, and we asked the driver about booking a taxi back and he said he%26#39;d wait. it was the end of july so its not as if they would have been quiet either. i can%26#39;t remember which location we went to though sorry.

ToniMontana,

Here%26#39;s another thought.

Take the bus to Gatorland and spend the morning there. After lunch, call Kissimmee Yellow Cab. Their office is less than two miles away. Have them take you to the airboats and return an hour later to pick you up to take you back to Gatorland.

Pick up the bus from there.

Should make a nice relaxed ';eco'; day.
