Hi All,I%26#39;ve booked seats with Virgin via Dial a Flight in premium economy.Dial a flight can%26#39;t prebook the seats for me upstairs (even though I know someone who works there)they say virgin have%26#39;nt released them all yet.Anyone know of a way of doing this or who I should contact.I fly in six weeks. Many thanks. Max.
Prebooking seats with Virgin
If you have your booking reference number go to Virgin Atlantics web page log in then go to manage your flights follow the instuctions and you will get the option to book your seat for the outbound flight ,then do the same for the inbound.
Prebooking seats with Virgin
Hi Nemmis,I%26#39;ve already tried this many times but it is%26#39;nt showing the icon to do it.Dial a flight say Virgin only release them periodically. Thanks Max.
maxdaxStockport_UK I booked my PE seats with VA direct online as soon as my booking ref number was confirmed i was able to pick my seats for out and in ,I can also check every night that they havnt moved us so im confused as to why you cant access the site .
Nemmis,It maybe because I booked via dial a flight and not direct with Virgin.Just a thought.I%26#39;ll ring Virgin and enquire I think. Thanks.
It may be that you have a ';dial a flight'; reference number and not a VA one.
I%26#39;ve just spoken to Virgin. The seats which have been released have all gone.Sixty percent of the total. The rest are released twenty four hours before departure. I will have to be on the starting blocks I think as I need five seats together. Thanks for the help. Max.
maxdaxStockport_UK thats a bummer as you need to get upstairs in the bubble as the downstairs PE section is not to good .
I hope you make it good luck :)
Thanks Nemmis.Too late to worry about now. If I%26#39;m on the ball I may just get lucky. Max.
hi we are going 4weeks on fri booked through virgin
tried to prebook seats as we have f.i.l. who is disabled and all seats were booked 8 months ago.
we are also from stockport and my s.i.l works for dial a flight
It%26#39;s probably too late for this time, but Virgin Atlantic guarantee this (which is why I book it direct with them):
';You won%26#39;t find the same Virgin Atlantic flight for less on any UK website, that%26#39;s guaranteed.
How does it work?
Just fill in the form (here - link omitted) when you%26#39;ve booked online at www.virginatlantic.com (don%26#39;t worry it doesn%26#39;t take long) and save a screenshot of the fare quote page where you found the cheaper fare (as we will request this).
Claim checklist - please ensure all criteria are met otherwise claim will be invalid.
You need to save a screen shot of the fare quote page where you found the cheaper fare (detail on how to do this is on their site)
The fare must be for the same route, date, flight number, ticket type (i.e. Booking class) and travel class (i.e. Economy, Premium Economy or Upper Class).
Your claim must be made by midnight on the day of purchasing your ticket on www.virginatlantic.com
The fare must be quoted in GBP and from a UK website
The fare must exclude all taxes and surcharges (i.e. must be the base fare)
How do I take a screenshot?
If you find a cheaper online fare that meets the criteria mentioned in the Terms %26amp; Conditions press the ';Print Screen'; button on your keyboard and paste this on a blank document by clicking on the ';paste'; icon on your tool bar.';
