We will be visiting for 3 days in the middle of July during the week. I have a couple of questions about where to stay and the express pass. Is it worth the extra money to stay at one of the hotels where the express pass is included, or could we stay at another hotel and still get on most rides just with some additional waiting time. Any suggestions on where to stay would be appreciated. We will have 4 adults and 4 kids ages 6-13. Thanks again.
Universal Studios Crowds in July
It will be crowded. It is well worth staying on site. All 3 hotels there are great. If you don%26#39;t have express pass you will waste to much time waiting on line.
Universal Studios Crowds in July
The advantage of staying on site at Universal in one of their resorts is the ';unlimited'; Express Pass the room key brings, not just a one-time per attraction pass that you purchase.
Regardless, you will definitely need some version of the Express Pass in July...most crowded time of the entire summer.
If you have no form of an Express Pass, either with the room key or buying them for everyone in the group, your que line wait times could easily be 90 or more minutes PER ATTRACTION at the Universal parks. Now that%26#39;s what I call misery.
I have to disagree. We live a little over an hour from Universal and have season passes that we use often. During the week in July is not busy as the kids are still in school until August. Of course over July 4th it is very busy. However, I do love staying at one of the hotels on site. They are all very nice and the convience of using your room key to go in front of all lines for all rides is nice. If you choose not to go the express route, you may have to wait anywhere from 10-30 minutes, which is not bad.
What school system in Florida is in session in July?
Certainly not any around the Orlando area. They go back in August after being out of schools since June, but they are definitely ';out for the summer'; in July.
