Is there a month in the summer where there are a lot of insects? We were thinking of going May, June or July. How is the weather in May? Thanks. joe

Weather is pretty much steady and gorgeous. July will be hot and humid. But the breeze from the gulf helps a lot. We%26#39;ve gone for years and will be there again in June. Have also been in August. Have never really experienced a bug problem. However, we stay at the Marriott. So, we%26#39;re right on the beach. I have heard of some ';buggy times'; if you%26#39;re inland at a rental home on the water or one of the hotels on the river. Where are you staying? That would help to advise.

I didn%26#39;t book yet. I hope to go May or June. I%26#39;m thinking the Surf Club on the ocean, since we went there once in November. Do you have any suggestions?

Not recommending, just saying look at the Eagle%26#39;s Nest. Right next door to the Marriott Resort. Within steps of Quinn%26#39;s Beach Bar (which I highly recommend). Small complex on that gorgeous white sand beach.
