There were many complaints last year on this forum about the condition of the sailboats-Does anyone know if things have improved? We%26#39;d like to stay there. We are sailors and would like to use the boat without major problems as described before.
Thanks for any info you can give
Key Lime Sailing Club-condition of sailboats?
Thank you for the post, my message is a bit late but better late than never.
We do have some newer boats now, mostly Catalina%26#39;s 22 (7 of them), two 22 O%26#39; Days, A 17%26#39; Marsh Hen Cat Boat (8'; draft), one 14%26#39; O%26#39;Day Javlen, 1 bite (Olympic racer), one Sunfish, one wing sailor and what every other toys I might add Just because I like Boats.
Like the 40'; catamaran I got last year that has a water slide on it. We now use it to do sunset cruses with any guest that want to hop on board Free of charge... But I may ask you to pull in a jib sheet or take the helm for a bit.
OOpps back to the Question
Our Boats are like any other, some thing to fix here or there. So We fix any and all concerns as soon as they may be found. Most we find but some our guest find first. So if the boat you pick is not just the way you like it when you check it out, let us know and it will be!...I have even been known to let a guest or two use my racing sail... :) and I think I will add some more boat Pic%26#39;s to the new web site Floridasailingadventures.
I Hope this info helps
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn%26#39;t do
than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.

Key Lime Sailing Club-condition of sailboats?
The boats are in better shape now than ever, we just got Brand new main sails and Brand new 4 stroke out boards ENG%26#39;s for most of the boats and added a few bigger boats for over nighters, a 32%26#39; and a 24%26#39;. Over Night Either on the dock on the hook just off the dock or out in the everglades for some real adventures.
And for those of you that need to learn how to sail or just need a refresher course Capt. Joe is a really good teacher. See some of the other trip adviser’s blogs.
Hope to see you Down IN The Florida Keys
