Tornadoes??

Okay I know I%26#39;m a worry wart but my first priority is to keep my children safe and tornadoes are really not something we worry about here. Ice storms and snowstorms don%26#39;t scare me but tornadoes and hurricanes do. So just wondering if there is a reliable way of knowing if a tornado is likely to touch down(good weather or news station) what do you do if you are out and about? I really feel silly but i am one of those annoying people who need a plan for everything. Sorry and thank you. Darlene

Buy a specific weather warning radio with batteries. Keep it with you. Many schools have one. It is usually silent but sounds a warning when a weather emergency may happen. Also, most local radio station will broadcast warnings. So when you arrive at your destination, determine the local radio news station. At the parks etc., they would warn you if such a thing were to happen. Local TV stations will also. We had a tornado touch down 2 blocks from our house and had ample waring.

Nous y 茅tions au mois d%26#39;aout dernier lors de la saison des ouragans, durant Fay, et je peux vous dire que disney diffuse 24h/24h des infos sur leur poste de t茅l茅vision. Ils sont vraiment bien organis茅 et pour y 锚tre all茅s 8 fois, la derni猫re chose dont ils ont envie est qu%26#39;un 茅v猫ment malheureux arrive. La saison des ouragans est 脿 son maximum entre aout et septembre. J%26#39;ai trouv茅 d%26#39;excellent sites de m茅t茅o en tapant orlando weather sur google.

Julie we leave on Monday morning got a little worried because of the tornado on Tuesday. Thank you for letting me know how well organized the parks are that is very reassuring!! I%26#39;ll find a good weather station I%26#39;m sure it well be fine considering the season but I like to be prepared. Sorry I didn%26#39;t write back in french but my written french is awful although I speak, understand and read it well, I never got the hang of all the verbes.

Have very nice trip !! Have fun !! Everything will be fine. It will be very nive Disney will be blowing. One of our best trip was unfer Fay storm because the parks were empty,no more than 5 min wait even for the princess at toon fair. Just relax and enjoy yourself. BTW where are you staying ?

We were here on Tuesday when there was a very serious tornado threat and it was nothing! We have a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old and they were more scared about the thunder!

We are staying in clermont on the 192. We took a condo because we are a family of 6 and even with the great specials at disney eating out every meal would kill the budget. By the way your english is great!
