Universal Parking Question

Hi

Hopefully an easy one for someone, on the days I visit Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, I believe the parking charge is $12. Once done at the parks, am I able to leave the car where it is and walk to Universal Citywalk but leave the car where it is and return to it later?

Simple answer ... yes.

The parking lots are common for both parks and City Walk.

Once you have parked up you have to walk through City Walk to get to either of the parks.

The escalators and people movers are almost like a ride in themselves. Don%26#39;t know how hard they would be to maneuver if one was a bit tipsy?

The cost of parking at Citywalk after 6pm (if you haven%26#39;t parked at Universal/IOA during the day and just want to eat at a restaurant or go to the cinema, etc) is just $3.

Hey, it just used to be free !!!

I suppose we just have to grit our teeth and pay up for an evening out.

Yes DLB, we%26#39;re supposed to be grateful that it%26#39;s a mere $3! However, a few cocktails and a nice plate of ribs later and we%26#39;ll have forgotten the pain!

Can you leave your car overnight and pick it up the next day? Does anyone know?

P.S: I%26#39;m not advocating driving back to your hotel after cocktails - the designated driver will have that pleasure!

No overnight parking allowed, it seems.

No, they do not allow any overnight parking at the Universal parking garages. Since they charge for parking at the hotels on property, they don%26#39;t want any one sneaking and leaving their vehicles in the lots for more than a day at a time.

They will tow any vehicles left in the garages each night.
