Day 2 from the De Boos family

Magic Kingdom here we come......

After reading all the advice on TA about arriving early I had told the family that this is what we were going to do! We knew it was Easter Monday and although we were avoiding EMH it would probably be very busy.

I woke up at 5.30am and was so excited had to get up and start preparing for the day.

We got to Magic Kingdom at 8am and straight away any touring plan I was thinking about went straight out the window! The kids saw the characters (which I have to admit is my favourite part) and wanted to queue for them. Bang goes the early fast passes!

We did not have any autograph books so desperately looked around in search of these. We found a tiny stall and ended up getting the most expensive autograpgh books (the ones where you can put a photo next to every autograph). The woman serving then decided to give us her life story about when her kids were little and they only had scrap books. She was so nice but we were just desperate to get the autographs!

We started queueing for Pluto and when we got to the front both of the kids ran to him and hugged him. He was so excited that he got down on all fours and waggled his tail which then scared my three year old daughter! We had to explain to her that he was so excited to see her. She prefered him when he was standing up!

We then got Daisy Duck, Chip n Dale and Snow White autograph (although my 5 yr old son decided that Snow White was not cool and just took pictures).

We headed over to Fantasyland, but then had to stop off at Liberty Square to get Donald Ducks autograph.

Eventually we made it over to Fantasyland and watched Mickey%26#39;s PhilharMagic movie, rode Dumbo, It%26#39;s a small world and Peter pan%26#39;s Flight. The longest queue we waited in was 40 mins so we didn%26#39;t bother with any fast passes.

We then headed over to Toontown. As you can see everything is based around the kids! We had a look around Minnie%26#39;s house and Donalds boat and then went into Mickey%26#39;s house. We started queueing for Mickey but then realised that my daughter had an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and that we would be pushed for time.

We got out of the queue and promised the kids that we would return and headed over to the castle.

Well.......

The Bibbidi Bobbdidi Boutique was excellent and my daughter loved it. Whilst all the other girls wanted a tiara etc my daughter wanted to look like a pop princess (even though she is 3 - she knows her mind). She enjoyed having her hair done and her nails and her make up. I would recommend it to any parents with girls. It was well worth the money. We had so many people comment about her.

Whilst myself and my mum waited for my daughter the boys decided to go elsewhere. We had told my son that he was allowed to go and pick a toy whilst he was waiting, so he was happy.

We had so many photo pass photos taking over her - which we had luckily already paid for back in England.

Whilst we were having the makeover the boys got fast passes for Buzz Lightyear. We then went on Tomorrowland Speedway whilst we were waiting for the fast pass time. I went on with my daughter who made the ride more like bumper cars, whilst my son behind us got annoyed because we were going too slow.

We went on Buzz Lightyear and then went over to Monsters Inc. What a clever show! We all loved it and could not stop laughing!

We then had a snack and decided to try Toontown again. The queue for Mickey was now 75 mins and as weare here for two weeks we decided to try another day.

My daughter was adamant she wanted to see the princesses so again we split from the boys and headed over to the princesses. The queue was only 30 mins so we decided to wait. I think this must be have been one of the highlights of the day for my daughter. We got to the front of the queue and she decided she was bursting for the toilet. She would not leave until we got the autographs and photos for Princess Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White. As soon as we left she was insistent that she did not need to go to the toilet and wanted to see them again! We persuaded her to meet up with her brother because the Spectromagic parade would be starting soon.

My husband and Dad had found a brilliant spot in front of the castle to watch the parade, so we joined them there. We managed to persuade my daughter to go to the toilet and that she would not miss anything.

I have to note here how they keep the crowds entertained. We had games and skipping which the kids loved. What an excellent idea!

The parade was excellent but now there was a big decision. I wanted to stay for the fireworks but my husband was worried about getting out of the park! At this point the kids fell asleep so I refused to leave! What a great choice! The fireworks were spectacular and Tinkerbell just topped it off.

After spending 15 hours in the park I was eventually persuaded to leave - BUT WHAT AN EXCELLENT DAY!

Tomorrow we will have to rest..... well lets just see!

My son, who was also 5yrs at the time, didn%26#39;t think Snow White was cool either!!

We have to try and get photos of the Princesses for our niece - she%26#39;s 27!! I%26#39;ve told her will only do it if the wait time isn%26#39;t too bad.

Enjoy your rest day - maybe! ;-)

Day 3 coming soon!

What a lovely day! My hubby and I used to play, ';It%26#39;s your turn, No way, I rode with her last time, etc.'; whenever it was time for our daughter to ';drive'; at the Speedway.

Hello, a question for you. We have season passes to Disney and have been several times already this year, but have never seen Snow White. Was she in with the princesses? Every time we have gone there it is Aurora, Belle, and Cinderella. We really want to see Snow White!!!

Enjoy the rest of your trip here...the weather has been great yesterday and today!

Kara56 - we arrived as soon as the park opened and spotted pluto straight away. Headed for him and then when we got to Chip n Dale a lady in front of us asked if we had seen Snow White. We said no and she said she is hiding near the corner. She was on the right in the corner just as we walked in. We would have missed her if not told.

We then saw her again with the princesses. We got to the princesses about 7pm and saw Princess Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White.

A handy hint - we were told if you go into one of the shops you can ask where to find Snow White or any character and what time and they will find out for you.

Hi De Boos family

Wow 15 hours in the park- wow I am so glad for You that You got to see the firework and said no to leave, sitting here thinking I saw the firework from the bus stastion wasn麓t the same.

Well three year old girl know what they want-

My three year old- starts nagging about the dress every time she looks at the DW photos- I didn麓t want to be cinderella I wanted to be Sleeping B- which isn麓t true- it was first when she saw her sister she wanted that.

And I wanted the glas shoes that part is true-but when I looked at the glas plastic shoes -which was plastic and thinking that it would be to hot- I picked out the rainbow shoes. Wrong idea from Me-

Thanks so much to the De Boos family for the tips! I am going to ask next time we%26#39;re there. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay!

Hey look forward to your updates, my husband and my 3 yr old son are going in 17 days time, I am really looking forward to it. I love reading your post especially I can take tips for my wee boy. My son sleeps from 8pm to 8am at home, so any tips to cope with the jet lag for the first few days?
