Best pizza in jacksonville?

I have read that there are 3 Joseph%26#39;s pizza and the one downtown is terrible and the one on Atlantic Blvd and the one by the port are good. Any comments on where to get that real new york style pizza? We are staying at the Omni.

The Loop, and Al%26#39;s Pizza are the best in my opinion.

Al%26#39;s is close by in Riverside, and the Loop is close by in San Marco.

The best pizza by far is either at Moon River Pizza or at Joseph%26#39;s Italian Restaurant!!!! They both have amazing pizza!

Josephs is always trusty, Als is a longtime favorite (YUM!), and my new fave is Brooklyn Pizza!!

My DH eats a lot at Borillo%26#39;s in St. Augustine and LOVES that place!!

Joseph%26#39;s pizza is the best in my opinion. I have not found any other pizza place where I can get everything homemade. I love their supreme. I was at the northside one last night and it was amazing.

Where is the best location for Josephs Pizza. We have lived here three years and do not have a favorite pizza place yet. We occasionally drive the hour from Orange Park to the beach to eat at Al%26#39;s, to which we would give a strong B+.

If you are in OP, then the Al%26#39;s in Riverside is much closer.

Also you should try Moon River on Edgewood, very good and great vibe there....

Comparing Pizza around here is like comparing minivans on a used car lot. I lived an hour from NYC for three years and am accustomed to good %26#39;Italian'; (NY Style pizza). Hands down around here it is Brooklynn Pizza. I%26#39;ve been to the San Jose rest. and Bay Meadows and both are excellent.... Al%26#39;s will do in a pinch but only because they are close to me here in Atlantic Beach. Milano%26#39;s at the beach is also OK (as good or better than Al%26#39;s). B%26#39;klynn is not quite the best I%26#39;ve had but by far the best around here.
