When to book for October?

I am hoping to book a holiday to Orlando,staying at Universal for the last 2 weeks of October. Because of money flow problems I won%26#39;t be able to book anything until the end of April, beginning of May. There will be 5 of us in total. Will it be ok to leave booking until then or will flights and hotels get booked up?

It a good time to go on holiday we were there in in the last 2 weeks of October 08.

We got caught up in the TCD in September, we rebooked everything within a month of departure, so I don%26#39;t see any issue you booking in May for when you want to go.

October is a little bit quieter at this time of year so you might pick up a good deal.

I dont want to be the bearer of bad news but were going in October and I booked my flights with Virgin on the 1st of January since then Ive watched the flights for my date and they are now for the 5 of us 拢780 pounds dearer .

This is not to say that there will not be bargains as the recession deepens but it could also go the other way with flights cancelled leading to fare increases.

Our flights for October with Virgin which I booked in December 08 have gone up by 拢100 per person. They were a very good price when I booked them, if you see a good price you should book it as the prices for flights can change in a few hours (or someimes minutes)IMO

Thanks for replies. I wish I could have booked earlier but I just can%26#39;t commit at the moment. Hopefully we can book in May and have a fab time in Orlando in October!
