car rental pick-up- airport only?

We will be staying at Ritz Carlton for 3 nights then want to hire a rental car for a week and drop it off at Orlando airport. Is there a rental counter in Sarasota itself or will we have to go to the airport? Thanks,

Hertz rents cars at the Ritz. And while Enterprise does deliver to local addresses, I believe they typically don%26#39;t allow dropoffs in other locations.

You might check the pricing on Hertz and comparison shop with other rental car agencies based only in the airport; Hertz tends to be on the high side and you might do better by taking a 10-minute taxi ride to the airport.

When you are requesting to drop off the car in another city most of the car rental agencies, I believe including Enterprise, require a airport to airport pick up and drop off. They will deliver and drop you at your hotel when you are returning the vehicle locally. But the airport is not far from the Ritz and its possible the Ritz has an arrangement with them for pick ups, checking with the hotel is a good idea.
