Hollywood Studios with 3 year old

Is it worth the money to take our 3 year old DS to Hollywood Studios, or wait until he is older? Our 12 year old DD wants to go, but we are thinking we should wait a few years for DS. We plan to go again when he is 6 years old.

Our plans for our Orlando trip are

1) WDW

2) Sea World

3) Aquatica

4) Animal Kindgom

5) Downtown Disney

The last time we were in Orlando, our DD was 6 years old and there seemed to be a LOT for her at that age (prefect age, I think), but 3 years seems SO young for most of Orlando%26#39;s attractions, especially at the prices!

If you are buying park hopper passes then it does not make any difference. I don%26#39;t really care for Hollywood Studios, would rather spend time else where.

No, we are not buying park hoppers. We don%26#39;t plan to go to more than 1 park per day and since we only have 2 Disney Parks (3 if we add Hollywood Srudios) I don%26#39;t see why we would buy it, since there aren%26#39;t any discounts for it.

There are so many characters your 3 year old can only meet in HS and at the perfect age.

My son loved HS last April when almost 3 and this year when he was almost 4.

Lightning McQueen

Tow-Mater

Buzz Lightyear

Woody

Mike Wisowski

Sully

Power Rangers

Playhouse disney show with Little Einsteins, mickey house club house and Handy Mandy. You can meet the characters outside of the show.

Toy Story Mania the ride- get a fast pass but your son will love this.

Muppets 3 D movie

Honey I shunk the kids playground

Lights Camera Action stunt show

Indiana Jones spectacular

The great movie ride - suprisingly my 3 year old son loved this, not sure if just him.

I agree, my son was 4 last time we went to HS, and he loved it. He met Tigger and Eeyore, Goofy, and Pluto and he loved the movie ride and the backlot tour, and of course the muppets!

TheMacks5plus--WOW! I had NO idea there was so much for the little ones! Sully, Mater, Lightning.....uh, yeah, he has watched Monsters, Inc 3 times today while playing with his Lightning racetrack, so I guess I better add this one to our list! Thanks for the info!!

Don%26#39;t forget the Block Party Bash Parade, our 4 year old Princess L_O_V_E_D that, she danced and sang and had a Blast. I think DHS is great for little ones :)

HS isnt as big as the other parks, but to be honest, its probably my favourite Disney park, and i think your little one will really like it

Glad to help. Be sure to get there early for a fast pass to Toy Story Mania. It is still worth using the standby line once too. The fast passes run out some days after a hour or two. It does not have a lot of rides but several things to see and do. Get a list of show times and appearances times when you enter the park. Toy Story, Cars and Monsters Inc. each have a different spot to meet them.

Hollywoop studios has a lot to offer little ones. I think the previous poster hit on many of them. One thing they didn%26#39;t mention was the Jedi academy. This is a cute show where kids can take part in Jedi Training.

yes the jedi training and one of the two spots you can make your own light saber. I can not believe I forgot this part.
