Suggestions for Arrival Day

Hello all! I love reading all your helpful advice on this board, and now I need your expert suggestions. We are arriving at WDW on April 12, early afternoon. We are splitting our drive down, so we will be relatively fresh on arrival day. After we check in at Saratoga Springs, what do you recommend for Day 1? We have 4 day park hopper passes, and Sunday has to be one of our days as we are departing VERY early Thursday morning. There will be 4 adults and our 2 little princesses, who are 2 and 7 months....Any ideas?

Suggestions for Arrival Day

It is a toss up between HS and AK. Both have reasons you would want to be there at opening. AK the animals are more active in the morning. HS has TSM which runs out of fast passes early.

You can easily do both parks in a partial day. Check the park hours for each on this day.

Suggestions for Arrival Day

MK is open until 2am on 4/12 for EMH%26#39;s in the evening so you can take full advantage of that park.

AK closes at 7pm but DHS is open until 10pm.

I agree, you would be best to do either Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios. We normally do Animal Kingdom on our first day, as i find it quite a relaxing park

Because it is Easter, it will be quite crowded at all the Parks but if I had to pick one, I%26#39;d go with Epcot. It%26#39;s the Park that feels less crowded during busy times. Magic Kingdom has Extra Magic Hours that night but I fear it may be packed. You could always ';Hop'; over to see if you wanted and then ';Hop'; somewhere else if you needed to

See, I would not recommend Animal Kingdom because it closes so much earlier than the other parks, even with extended hours.

By arriving on Easter Sunday itself, you are at a disadvantage due to the crowds, but since you have hopper passes, you may want to begin the day at one park and finish up at another. If you do, I%26#39;d do Epcot first, then take the monorails over to Magic Kingdom for the late evening EMH hours.

I missed the part that you had hoppers and did not realize it was Easter Sunday. Glad others offered information.

Buzz- Nice to have you posting, Welcome.
