What are some weird things you pack for Orlando?

I always get there and realize ';I should have packed X'; and then feel like buying it would be ridiculous, for instance a bottle of kechup or pepper or more beach towels, when I could have packed a few little fast food packets to last the trip, or just brought a couple towels. Then I get home and forget to add those things to my list of Orlando necessities. So what are those things? I know someone mentioned night light the other day which I immediately added to my list as I have a a 3YO. A tiny pair of scissors...ziplocks bags for cameras (thanks Nemmis)...what else?

Hi Altitude9600

To many shoes.

hats, scarfs and gloves and we have used them 2 out of 4 visits over Xmas and New Year.

Dental kit- for ';make do'; fillings

toilet roll

A small glasses repair kit, just in case.

Princess Blanket. It has many uses! Defines our space, for a parade. Cushion at Fantasmic. Used as a coat, when caught off guard, with weather. Covers the entire family, during rain showers.

We originally brought it, as our daughter always slept with it. Long past that stage, we have found we can%26#39;t go to Disney without it!

Fragile UK what is a dental kit? I have never heard of one but it sounds like it would be smart when travelling to other countries.

clachloell thats funny, I can think of more than once I could have used that!

Ok this may sound really wierd, but ribbon, lots of ribbon. This has many uses, tying round the ariel of the car, easier to find in the crowds.

Tie around the handle of suitcases, and extra suitcses, again easier to find going around luggage claim belt at airport.

Tie girls hair back when it gets wet, and this is going to sound mad but if toddlers keep running off, tie one end to them and one end to you, never to b lost again.

hiya, sound like me,,,,,,, i always take a facecloth (dry) and a plastic bag, then each day before we go out i rinse in soapy water, and then place in bag, hey presto clean kids , saves space in bag, better than packets of babywipes?

Also take (borrow) from cafe%26#39;s big T!!! sachet of vinegar, in case of jellyfish stings, sounds crazy and my hubby swallowed his words last year in Turkey? little boy on beach badly stung, and miles better than URINE?

there is a www, for backpackers, small charge items for indespensible items needed for travel, i think it%26#39;s called backpackers.com

but have a look

enjoy

Beat this!! My wife always takes her pillow!! It has been to Malta, Vegas and Florida 4 times. She has difficulty sleeping on hard pillows and says this one is perfect. Do we get a prize for the silliest thing? Jason

corkscrew, tweezers, tumble dryer sheets - makes your clothes/case smell nice and can be used in the dryer if you wash your clothes - saves having to buy whole box on holiday :)
