I agree wholly, although I would always choose to stay south of Sand Lake Rd.

I think that the ';tacky'; and other comments, which people are of course wholly entitled to express, are nevertheless at best misleading. It%26#39;s all a matter of opinion, though.

plenty here adore Idrive. I am just not one of them.

But isn%26#39;t that the fun thing? That everyone is different?

I like I-drive

I would not stay north of Sand Lake. The crime is bad... visitors often have their happy sunshine blinders on. It was great 15 years ago. But it hasn%26#39;t been updated at all, has not moved with the times. Which is why it%26#39;s called tacky. No one wants $0.99 mugs and t-shirts anymore, visitors want outlet malls and modern structures.

I did not realise the crime was that bad north of Sandlake as have never seen any may be i am lucky as for $99 mugs there great for your tea back at the hotel then throw them away befor coming home to the uk

mostly property crime though to the south... not violent crime

international drive is not tacky, oh yes it is :)

i like i-drive and always stay here and i do not find it tacky

but than each to there owm

i have walked on i-drive at different times with my dausghters and never had any problems

but lets not get carried away with the crime issue

there is crime everywhere and it is not a one area speciality of i-drive but all over the us and lets not forget we have it at home as well from well do areas to less well off

one just has to be careful and do not go around with flashy jewelery or posh mobiles etc get my drift

you would not do it at home so why do it when you are on holiday
