Inexpensive things to do

Any suggestions for inexpensive things to do during a 3-4 day stay? Not interested in going to any of the big theme parks. Just trying to get away for a long weekend to relax and maybe see a few smaller attractions.

Inexpensive things to do

Downtown Disney, the Disney Boardwalk area, Gatorland, the Holy Land Experience, Old Town in Kissimmee, Wonder Works, the Orlando Science Center, and I%26#39;m sure many other things.

Are you interested in water parks at all?

One of the neat things we do alot is touring around the various Disney resorts. We%26#39;ve also spent time over at Ft. Wilderness, where they have a free campfire sing-along in the evenings.

There%26#39;s tons of mini-golf and similar recreational activities around as well.

Leu Gardens.

Free admission on Monday mornings (doesn%26#39;t get any cheaper).

Lake Boat trip at Winter Park

and then spend the rest of the day looking at the quaint local shops and/or just sitting in the park watching people (and squirrels).

Mousesavers.com has a list of free and cheap things to do inside Disnyworld, without going to the theme parks:

Are you going to have a car?

If so, you could go to Mount Dora, quaint small town on a lake. Good food, nice park, nice atomsphere.

Gatorland is good. Cypress Gardens are not the expensive. Crystal River, although the Mantees are probably gone. Blue Springs is nice as well.

And of course there is the beach.

Also, Park Ave in Winter Park is great as well.
