Discovery Cove footwear

Hi,

Will we be okay barefoot or with crocs / flipflops at Discovery Cove or should I buy special shoes ? If so which ones.

I imagine that you will be okay with crocs but no way with barefoot as much of the walkways are sand and with the florida sun that gets painfully hot. one problem with crocs though is that when you are swimming you will have to leave them somewhere and hope they dont go missing or been taken by a castmember to the reception. What i have brought for discovery cove is a pair of shoes that are made out of waterproof material so you can walk on them and swim with them however i am not sure where i got them from but im sure you can find them on the internet if you look around and there not exspensive they are probabley about 15 pound.

We have bought Ocean Pacific watershoes from Sports Direct. They were 拢3.99 a pair but the rrp was about 拢11.99 so got a real bargain! My neice has just been to get some today.

I paid a lot more than this for the last ones I bought in Florida.

I think you have to take all footware off when you do the Dolphin interaction.

never mind painfully hot- we where there 2000 Xmas and the temp did not go above 1oc all day. It was so cold we could not put our feet down on the sand.

You can get adult swim shoes online from Suntogs.

When you get here, you can get aquasocks/ water shoes at walmart, and I think at walgreens. Discovery cove also sells them, although they are overpriced.

We got some shoes frpm Asda for 拢3 a pair. Did for DC and the other water parks. As said above, the main problem can actual be how hot the ground gets.
