Brevard Zoo?

Is this zoo worth the trip from Cocoa Beach? We are 4 adults, but we all love animals.....

Brevard Zoo?

The Brevard Zoo is a great zoo thanks to lots of support from the community. The animals are in natural settings, it%26#39;s not just a bunch of cages and concrete.

Here is the link to the zoo, check and find out the giraffe feeding times. They also have a small train that tours thru the park.

I%26#39;ve looked at the website but cannot find giraffe feeding times (just a price). Am I missing something?

My daughter goes to this zoo a lot and she said they let the giraffes out and it%26#39;s up to the giraffes if they will come to the feeding area. There is an area where you can purchase crackers to hand feed them. She said that she has only been there once or twice when the giraffes would not come out. There are also otter feedings, vulture feedings and other feedings that are on different days. Once you get here give the zoo a call, there is a recording that tells you what time the feedings are. The phone number is 321-254-3002.

From Cocoa Beach you can take A1A to the Beachline and then go south on I-95 to the Viera exit at Wickham Road, Go east, the zoo entrance is on the right. It%26#39;s about 15 minutes drive depending on traffic. There is a shopping center at Viera and lots of restaurants, some at the shopping center and more along Wickham Road. You can also take A1A south to Pineda Causeway to Wickham Road then go north. Zoo will be on the left.

bornwithweheels you are awesome! Thanks so much for your great info!!!
