Nearest public bus (LYNX) service is on US192 (aka Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy, aka Space Coast Pkwy).

To get there from OIA:

Take LYNX 42 or 111 from the airport to the Florida Mall (3 per hour, trip time 25 minutes).

Transfer to LYNX 4 (southbound) and alight at the terminus, Osceola Square mall (every 30 minutes, trip time 60 minutes).

Transfer to LYNX 55 or 56 along US 192 to Parkway Blvd (4 per hour, trip time about 20 minutes).

Depends what you mean by ';best';. Quickest (and most costly) would be a taxi. Next (and still quite costly) a shuttle - see choices above.

Then, cheapest and slowest (of course) is LYNX bus. This is the **easiest** way to do it by bus:

1: Go by WDW bus to DownTown Disney marketplace.

2: Exit, cross the street, and take LYNX 111 (destination Airport), hourly at xx40. Get off at the Florida Mall

3: Transfer to LYNX 37 (destination Park Promenade) to Universal. 37 is every 30 minutes Mon-Fri and connections out of the 111 time quite well. It%26#39;s only hourly at weekends and you do have a wait at the mall. Better to do it during the week.

Universal %26gt; DownTown Disney

1: 37 (destination Florida Mall) from Universal%26#39;s parking garage to Florida Mall

2: 111 from Florida Mall to DownTown Disney (hourly at xx18).

Pay $2 when you board, and ask for a transfer (ticket). Use the transfer instead of paying again on your 2nd bus.

There is another route using bus 50, 8 and 37 in that order. It%26#39;s geographically more direct but will take a similar amount of time.

I am also wondering is it more economical to taxi to a hotel at WDW or rent a car or do hotels provide shuttle service from hotel to airport. We will be coming in a MCO and planning on staying at the Hilton. I hear it%26#39;s a decent hotel near WDW.

Again, absolute economy would put you on a bus. The Hilton is (I believe) on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. LYNX service 111 operates hourly every day at xx52 from the airport direct to Hotel Plaza Blvd; trip time about an hour, and fare is $2 each.
