Caribbean beach resort vs coronado springs resort

It%26#39;s for my wife and I, how do these compare in terms of

1) swimming pool

2) quality of the sandy ';beach%26#39; areas

3) drinks available late, close to the pool

4) food/restuarants

5) The gardens and outdoor features.

Which is better for two adults to rest and relax after the long days at the Park.

Thank you.

If you want to relax

Coronado Springs for sure

It is a More Adult Resort

Caribbean Beach is a very Popular Resort for Families with young kids

Coronado has a great Lounge, wonderful pool and Hot Tub, Unique Food Court and very nice Restaurant

We have stayed there many times when it is an Adults only Holiday

Thank you..I was leaning towards coronado springs. I am hoping to have their shuttle pick me up and drop me off at the airport. Do I have to make my reservations with them to have this planned. Do you know whether they will have buses going to the airport like 5 in the morning. If I book through a website, can I still get these services. I assume there are shuttles to the disney parks. Also, which travel website has the best rates for this hotel, or should I call the hotel directly?

Thanks.

You do need to call Magical Express and let them know your flight details. They run 24/7 so no problem coming or going. Once on Disney Property, the transportation to all the Parks works quite well, you will catch on pretty quick

If you can go Jan - June there is a very nice deal. Buy 4 get 3 free I use and recomend

You can request a free Quote on-line. If you decide to book with them, they will deal directly with Disney for you. Everything can be done on-line and they will even make Dining Reservations for you, a nice Perk so you don%26#39;t have to keep calling Disney :)

If you can get one of the newly refurbished rooms at Coronado, that might be a good choice for less children being around, like Partypa said.

My only complaint about Coronado is they have only one sink in the room, whereas Carribean will have two.

Do you know how to ask for the newly refurbished rooms...is there a name for that section?

Thanks

No, I don%26#39;t know which areas have been updated and which have not, but perhaps someone else does.

They are replacing the beds with new queen beds.

Go to this link and see if you can read the reviews where folks mention the buildings that have been done already and the ones which have not:

I would imagine if just you and your wife you will want one bed. In my research I have read that they are currently working on making the single bed rooms into king size beds. Putting in about 200 rooms like this.

Not sure on which sections have been remodeled or not.

I called the hotel and they adviced that all the sections with the regular rooms are currently being renovated. they said they are all interior work and will not be noisy. Only the villa areas would not be under renovation.

I am looking into getting a room close to the main swimming pool, and she said that%26#39;s called the %26#39;preferred%26#39; area and to ask for it with the booking agent.

Is it a good idea to get a room close to the main pool ?

Thanks

Near the Main Pool might mean quite a distance from the Lobby/Food Court/Lounge. There are no rooms that are right %26#39;Next to%26#39; the Main Pool, they are a short walk. Here is the Link to the Map so you can get an idea of the layout

The Cabanas are a nice central location

Thank you for the link...cabanas and especially bulding 9 area seems ideal, great.
