I am booked May 13-21
Looking for a nice place, must be 1 bedroom with kitchen.
Want it to be modern and not run down and within reasonable driving distance to everything (ie 10 miles etc..)
Hoping for a decent deal too
looking for 4 stars or above
any help would be MUCH appreciated
Need off Disney 1 bedroom hotel/resort/timeshare help
4 stars plus kitchen plus one bedroom don%26#39;t compute. Good 2-3 stars would be Staybrdige Suites and Residence Inn, good 3-4 stars 2 bed condos would be Winsdor Hills.
The only expensive one beds I can think of would be the Villas of Grand Cypress, and the Villa properties onsite at Disney like Boardwalk villas etc.
Need off Disney 1 bedroom hotel/resort/timeshare help
homewood suites on i drive, 1 bedroom and kitchen, shuttles to parks ,breakfast, evening light meal mon-thurs free beer and wine, close to restaurants and shopping ie.pointe orlando, clean and comfortable hope this helps
josie
Josie, I think that is rated two stars, OP was asking for 4. 4 stars don%26#39;t usually have kitchens.
i know its lower stars but it has everything else ,so just wanted to throw it in for consideration
josie
Marriott%26#39;s Grande Vista, HGV Club on International Drive, HGV Club at SeaWorld, Hyatt
Ok, so maybe I don%26#39;t need ';4'; stars
what I was or am trying to get is a palce with enough room, a seperate bedroom, and to be relatively modern and clean.
I do not want to be in a place that looks incredibly lived in and dated
does that make more sense?
also hoping for decent things to do at the place for my 2.5 year old (ie. nice pool, part, etc... anything else)
thanks for all your responses!!!!
price range?
I still say the Villa DVC properties at disney, Villas at Grandy Cypress, and those Hyatt and Marriott properties mentionned above. One bed suites at Staybridge in LBV might do, as would cypress pointe resort or the Blue Heron.
All of the above are close enough (ie abt 10 mins) frm Disney and Seaworld by car which is where you will want to go with a 2 year old.
I%26#39;ve stayed in all the ones suggested by Ladyemm and can confirm that they all tick all your boxes perfectly.
You are not going to be able to get a 4 star suite too inexpensively-only the Hyatt Cypress Villas would even come close and they are around $800 a night. Most of the suite hotels are 2 to 2 1/2 stars-we like the Staybridge Suites,Marriott Grande Vista and the Residence Inn LBV. You can get a one bedroom villa at Disney but nowhere near 4 stars. Depends on your priorities
We stayed at Orange Lake Country Club in December in a one bed suite, was lovely, very clean and looked like new. Has small kitchen with microwave, hob and seperate small toaster oven, also had a dishwasher.
Great pool areas. There%26#39;s a new road (not sure of number, toll road) just down the 192 which took us to Disney in 5 minutes.
